Ggplot scale fill manual

There are three different types of function to modify the default ggplot2 gradient color, including scale_color_gradient (), scale_color_gradient2 (), scale_color_gradientn (). The same scale functions exist for the fill arguments: scale_fill_gradient (), scale_fill_gradient2 (), scale_fill_gradientn ().

Ggplot(ServicesProp, aes(x = Service, y = percent, fill = Service)) + geom_bar(stat = "identity", position = "dodge") + scale_fill_manual(values = c("red", "grey", "seagreen3")) The default scale for continuous fill scales is scale_fill_continuous () which in turn defaults to scale_fill_gradient (). As a consequence, these three commands produce the same plot using a gradient scale: erupt erupt + scale_fill_continuous () erupt + scale_fill_gradient ()
